First of all, don’t be scared, this book is not just for vegans.  While all the recipes in this book are ‘plant-based’ (meaning that they don’t contain any animal products e.g. meat, dairy, eggs or honey), that does not mean that meat eaters can’t enjoy these delicious recipes.  There are plenty of recipes in here that will help increase the fruit and veggie intake of everyone (and let’s not lie you know that would be good for you).  

 

Now that’s out of the way, let’s get on to why these recipes are really fantastic.  They are all easy recipes with nothing extraordinary involved and you don’t need to spend hours in the kitchen.  All the recipes provided have lists of the macronutrients and calories per serve and have bar codes which you can scan to add the recipe to your ‘My Fitness Pal’ account.  This is incredibly handy if you are new to cooking, nutrition, and/or a plant-based diet, as it helps you see exactly what nutrients you are getting from your food.  This is also helpful if you are tracking your calories and macros due to a certain diet and/or to reach a certain goal.

 

This book is perfect for you if you are; wanting to increase your fruit and veggie intake, move to a more plant-based diet, are counting macros and/or calories, using MyFitnessPal or are just wanting to spice up your day with some new, tasty, quick and easy recipes.
